Although I am a big fan of The Wonder Years, Party of Five takes the number one spot. I am hoping that they actually follow through and release the rest of the series.

Party Of Five really hit its stride in the third season- it was a show that addressed issues head on and the kind of show that was so depressing for the characters that it made your life seem so much better. It was so depressing on occasion in fact that you'd think it would make you switch off, but it somehow became even more addictive.

Season 3's main storyline and emotional highpoint happens during the last third of the season, revolving around Bailey's alcoholism. We are also introduced to Bailey's new roommate Callie (the beautiful Alexondra Lee), and Charlie's relationship storyline evolves beyond Kirsten. The emotional highs are instantly tearjerking and the few moments when all is well with the family of five are wonderfully comforting to see.

The DVD's only special features are some minisodes from other television series.

Vince Vega:
When Vince visits Lance for the first time he is complaining about some jerk that supposedly keyed his car. It was allegedly Butchs revenge for the argument the two had when early on they met at Marsellus club.

Mia Wallace:
Mia Wallace is barefoot for most of the movie.

The Wolf:
Harvey Keitels character in this movie has the same specialized job as his character in Point of No Return (1993).

The Briefcase:
Speculation abounds as to the nature of the mysterious glowing contents of the case:
In a radio interview with Howard Stern in late 2003, Quentin Tarantino was asked by a caller the contents of the briefcase, and he answered, "Its whatever the viewer wants it to be".

Beatles Trivia:
Though she bought him his first guitar, Johns Aunt Mimi discouraged him from a career in music, saying, according to John: "The guitars all right as a hobby, but it wont earn you any money." Years later, John gave her a silver plaque with that quote engraved upon it.
