| Ping Eye 2 Lob Wedge- This is the wedge that is causing Phil Mickelson some grief on the tour. Pre-1990 versions of this wedge have been grandfathered in for use (because of a lawsuit) on the PGA Tour much to the the chagrin of some other players. The deeper squared grooves allow more spin on the ball which might offer an advantage over the current diamond shaped grooves.
Seems that if they're legal, then using them should be no problem. Considering that they are not difficult to find, any pro has access to this wedge if they want to use it.
They are classic and timeless -- they will never go out of style.
