| The Edge with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin is one of my top 100 movies of all time. It is extremely suspenseful and has surprisingly interesting characters, especially Anthony Hopkins. You see both the best and worst in humans, and although Hopkins' character is not perfect, it does give you a touching example of man at his best.
The end is his "finest moment" and it would be lovely if we could all show the dignity that he did, in not humiliating his cheating wife and her lover. To let them off the hook with their public faces in tact shows a great deal of integrity, and perhaps is even more humiliating for the wife when she realizes that not only has she behaved very badly towards him, but that he knows it and can still behave better than she can!
